Cricket 07 has today been released in the UK just over a week after the intial Australian release.

The game is available on PC and PS2 for around £29.99 although the PC version is as cheap as £20.99 online. For a list of prices in various highstreet and online shops click here.

With the game relesaed in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa last week many PlanetCricket members have written reviews of the game. See a list of these reviews and reviews from PlanetCricket.net staff here.


The game does not have real player names for countries other than England, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa so an essential patch for owners of the PC game is the PlanetCricket real name changer made by administrator BarmyArmy. This can be downloaded from our Posted by Ste | 0 Comment(s)

Name Changer has been released for Cricket07. It will correct all the fake names put into the game by EA and replace them with the real ones.
Simply run the exe and select your .ros file. Will work on any .ros file for Cricket07.
Names changed for all teams including SA/NZ domestic teams, World Test/ODI XI's and 'A' teams. All 1053 players in the game should now have the correct name.

EA Sports have today released the 3rd producer diary for Cricket 07



There is talk concering the new improved 'batsman cam' plus a new 'flip cam' camera for a whole new batting experience as well as information regarding fielding and the HUD and Picture in Picture display

PlanetCricket have conduced an exclusive in-depth interview about Cricket 07 with its producer from EA Canada Justin Forrest.

The interview gives the biggest insight yet into what the game will include and with some questions submitted by PlanetCricket members it goes beyond the normal information released in press releases.


Some questions answered in the interview cover the subjects of bowling and batting animations, new AI, swing when bowling, manual appealing, teams and stadiums in the game, the possibility of bugs, pitch deterioration, rain in ODIs and much more.
